Meet Our Dentists at Dentist WA Canning Vale

Saj is a stalwart figure in the Canning Vale community, having worked at our sister practice, Ranford Road Dental Centre, since its inception in 1997. After two decades there, Saj took the opportunity to expand his horizons at Dentist WA Canning Vale. “Your comfort is my absolute priority.” He earned his dental degree at the University of Western Australia in 1995. Since that time, he has actively pursued many areas of dentistry, holding a strong interest in cosmetics and aesthetics. Outside of the Practice - In his spare time Saj loves spending time with his family.

He provides patients with the highest available quality dental care. With an attention to detail and direct nature, patients appreciate Gavin’s comprehensive dental solutions and that he keeps their best interests in mind. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, as well as dental implants.

Maria completed her dental degree with first-class honours at the University of Western Australia graduating at the top of her class. Over her years of training, Maria has won numerous awards in pathology, prosthodontics and restorative dentistry. She has also been awarded the Australian Dental Association prize as well as the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Prize in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.

Suanne has been working with us since 2009 at Ranford Road Dental Centre previously and at Dentist WA Canning Vale since its opening at the Queensgate Centre. She graduated from UWA in 2006 with Honours. She is committed to keeping abreast of the latest developments in dentistry; regularly attending continuing education courses.

Dr Rajaa Chiri, BDSc. is committed to helping Canning Vale families achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. “As a child, I was inspired by my own dentist, who was able to give me a nice smile. I felt like it was an artwork, and I wanted to be able to do the same to others.”

Dr. Jasmine Li is a distinguished dental practitioner with a passion for delivering exceptional care across all aspects of general dentistry. With a focus on aesthetic dentistry- including ceramic crowns, and implants – Dr. Li is committed to providing her patients comprehensive, cutting-edge treatments in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Dr. Ismail is a dedicated dentist with a keen interest in restorative and prosthodontic dentistry. Currently, he is actively pursuing further education through various courses to develop his skills and expertise in these areas. Alongside this, Dr. Ismail finds fulfillment in all aspects of dentistry, embracing the opportunity to continually learn and grow in his profession. Through ongoing education and a commitment to excellence, he strives to deliver optimal outcomes and restore smiles with precision and artistry.

Academic and Professional Background- completed his training at the University of Western Australia in 2006, graduating with Honours. He also received a coveted prize for endodontics. Sean has considerable experience as a dentist. He worked in private practice for over 10 years, including owning a successful practice in Melbourne.

Dentist WA Canning Vale are delighted to welcome a new Dentist to our Team, Dr Ranjeet Sekhon. Graduating with honours from the University of WA in 2005, Dr Ranjeet is a very experienced dentist, with a wide range of skills in performing more complex extractions, managing dental pain, root canal treatments and cosmetic dentistry.

General dentist Dr Alan was always fascinated by the complex relationship between health and wellbeing. Growing up, he was inspired by the stories of medical professionals who made a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Dr Manvir completed his dental degree at James Cook University, where his dedication to the profession was recognised with the Colgate Oral Care Prize twice and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) Academic Prize. These achievements reflect his commitment to learning and professional development.
