Meet Dr Matt Tan (Dentist)

Gentle Dental Care

Dr TanFor Dr Matt Tan, dentistry is all about precision, comfort, and care. He combines a calm, patient-centred approach with leading-edge technology to help people feel more confident about their smiles—and their experience in the chair. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, he believes great care starts with understanding your concerns and creating a plan that works for you.

Growing from Regional Roots to Local Expertise

After graduating from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, Dr Matt spent two years in regional Bunbury working under the mentorship of a prosthodontist. This hands-on experience shaped his practical, down-to-earth approach to dentistry. Today, he lives in Perth with his family and brings that same dedication and warmth to every patient he sees.

Precision That Helps You Relax

Dr Matt has a keen interest in digital dentistry, including 3D scanning, which allows him to plan and deliver highly accurate results without guesswork. He’s also an Invisalign®-certified provider and enjoys discreetly helping people achieve a straighter smile. For those feeling anxious, he offers nitrous sedation (happy gas) and takes the time to listen, reassure, and explain everything clearly. There’s nothing better than watching a nervous patient walk out of the clinic smiling and actually looking forward to their next visit.
