Dr Jasmine Li, DDM WA (Dist.)
Dr Jasmine likes all aspects of general dentistry and has a particular interest in restorative dentistry (i.e., white fillings, crowns and implants). She enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients. Dr Jasmine likes to provide a calm and comfortable environment for them.
She also has a special interest in paediatric dentistry and enjoys treating our youngest patients. Dr Jasmine does a terrific job at making children feel relaxed at the dentist and excited for their next visit.
Academic and Professional Background
Dr Jasmine graduated with first-class honours from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While there, she was awarded the ADAWA award for leadership excellence in dentistry. She also earned the G.D. Henderson Prize in Oral Surgery. “During my training, I was awarded the David Booth travel grant and travelled to Vietnam to provide volunteer dental work to disadvantaged children.”
She also possesses a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.) from Monash University. “Before being captivated by teeth and gums I worked as a pharmacist. I enjoy treating medically complex patients. Deciphering a long list of medications is my specialty!”
Dr Jasmine is a member of the Australian Dental Association of Western Australia. She attends regular professional development courses to ensure that she is up to date on new dental technologies. She has taken courses/training in the following:
- Nitrous sedation, which allows Dr Jasmine to offer inhalation sedation to her nervous patients
- Paediatric dentistry, which allows her to place “princess crowns” and “pirate crowns” on teeth
- Level 1 restorative implants

Dr Jasmine is passionate about finding solutions to her patients’ complex dental problems. She also enjoys helping people in need or in pain to become comfortable.

Before she started at Dentist WA Canning Vale, Dr Jasmine spent time working in Bunbury. She enjoyed treating patients from all walks of life.
Outside of the Practice
When she’s not caring for patients’ smiles, Dr Jasmine is passionate about photography. She enjoys taking landscape photos. Before the pandemic, she loved travelling and exploring the world. “I was able to combine my passion for volunteer dentistry and travelling to Nepal and Vietnam providing dental care for disadvantaged communities.”
Dr Jasmine loves all things food and has always been keen on exploring the foodie scene in Perth. As she is from Melbourne originally she’s a coffee snob by default!
